The 2025 Central Florida Comic Con in Lakeland was an AWESOMEevent that brought together fans, creators, and celebrities for a weekend of comic con goodness. This was the perfect event to kick off the year!
The Central Florida Comic Con featured an impressive lineup of special guests, including Ross Marquand (The Walking Dead / Avengers: Endgame), Mick Foley (WWF Legend), Jason Douglas (Dragon Ball Z / Attack on Titan), Josh Blaylock (GI Joe / Devil’s Due), Emily Swallow (The Mandalorian), Steve Conley (comic book writer/artist), Amy Jo Johnson (Power Rangers) and so many more.
A highlight of the convention for us was the Indie Publishing Panel, where Cosmic Times’ publisher, Martin Pierro, shared the stage with industry experts Lan Pitts, Heidi Hess, and Bohdan Neswiacheny. The panel provided valuable insights into the world of independent publishing. For those who couldn’t attend, the panel is available to watch on YouTube.
Overall, the Central Florida Comic Con was a resounding success! Such a great crowd full of so much energy – we are eagerly anticipating next year’s event.

Collective Con was a massive three-day event that saw thousands upon thousands of fans flood into the Prime F Osborne III Convention Center in Jacksonville, FL. Collective Con had a killer lineup of media guests – including – Giancarlo Esposito, Ron Perlman, Famke Jassen, and easily a dozen more! While many came for the media guests, the creator guests is where the awesomeness was. Creators included – Chris Bachalo, Clay Mann, Tim Townsend, Andrew Robinson, and From Blood variant cover artist – Larry Watts.
Beyond interacting with the amazing attendees and hanging out with some awesome guests, we were able to have dinner with our convention friends such as – author Steve Altier (along with his lovely wife Toni), the Attic Door Media crew (Cici and Mark), Matt Knowles (Insymmetry Creations), and Disney Animation LegendPeter Raymundo along with his always AWESOME wife Dorthy.
To sum things up – Collective Con was a GREAT convention that provided many experiences that went well beyond the show floor. If you get a chance to visit this show in 2026 you really should do it – for fun, fellowship, and a really special weekend.
