BEN PERKINS

Ben Perkins was born in Berlin, New Hampshire at 1:24PM on December 3rd 1976. He grew up loving art and becoming enamored with comics and comic storytelling. After many hours of art class in high school, and a couple of years of state college, Ben moved to Portland, OR for a year of art school, before dropping out and perusing a career in comics on his own. 

Ben has been creating, writing and drawing comics in Portland for close to twenty years for many different kinds of people. Some of this work has seen print, most of it hasn’t but all have contributed to his sharpening of skills, helping him advance in his chosen field. 

Currently, Ben is involved with completing Post Traumatic for writer, Pete Fitz, is completing a number of fan and charity projects and is finding time to work on his creator owned projects, including his most popular character, Heavy.
