New Look for 2020!
New Cover Treatments for 2020
In 2008 we launched Cosmic Times with a very particular cover treatment … over time we tweaked it but it was still very much the same. We had the idea that our books would have a color bar across the top with each title having a unique color. For 2020 we will be changing things up with a whole new style. We are moving everything to the top left and instead of being title colors, the new corner graphic will be colored to represent the rating of the book. We wanted to find a way to clearly communicate to our customers what age level our books are appropriate for. Below is an example of what these new corner boxes will look like …
GREEN = ALL AGES
Appropriate for readers of any age.
ORANGE = TEEN
Recommended for readers 12 and older.
DARK RED = TEEN +
Recommended for readers 16 and older.
BLACK = MATRUE
Recommended for adults only.
Beyond just ratings, we will be using this new corner box to easily distinguish if the book is a first, second or third printing. We will also communicate variant information here as well. Below is an example of what these new color bars will represent …
